JCrew Final Sale! EXTRA20 + Freeeeeee shipping*

I have to admit that the EXTRA % off + Free Shipping promos are my absolute FAVORITE! Like many others, I really wish for a % off and free ship NO min, but it's HIGHLY unlikely that'll ever happen.

But anyway, I love getting great deals and not worrying about paying an arm and a leg with shipping costs. The only catch about this promo is that you have to pretty much have around $190 worth of sale stuff to get the free shipping, at the very least you'll end up spending $150... which IMO, isn't bad for alllll the stuff I ended up getting! 8 pieces for $150?! That's like only 2 or 3 full priced items!!! I'll go the sales route, thank you very much!!! :)

Here is what I bought:
I listed the original price and what I paid after the 20% reduction.

Ruffle & Roses Tank in Sheer Lilac & Ivory
Original Price: $42.50 each
Sale Price: $24/each

Tulle Blossom Art Tee in Natural
Original Price: $45
Sale Price: $20

Tissue Ribbed Ruffle Henley in Black
Original Price: $39.50
Sale Price: $24
Pom-Pom Feather Pin- I've been wanting one since fall but could never pounce on one fast enough! Hopefully this one doesn't arrive broken or defective!
Original Price: $22.50
Sale Price: $11

Leather Equestrian Belt (I've been wanting a brown JCrew belt! Finally got it at a great price!)
Original Price: $45
Sale Price: $24

Destroyed Boyfriend Chinos- I sized down so hopefully they fit good on me!
Original Price: $69.50
Sale Price: $16

Scout Chinos: These will be super cute once the sun starts to come out.
Original Price: $69.50
Sale Price: $16

After seeing the sale and original price, you can see that when you buy JCrew on sale, YOU REALLY GET A GOOD DEAL!!! I got over $370 worth of stuff and I paid half that! WOOO! LOVE IT!

As much as I'd love to buy full priced items, it just isn't cost effective for me. Sure, I may miss out on hot items but paying full price and then one week later have the item hit the sales rack is just sad. My items may be from fall/winter rollout but I know that I can still bring them into the spring.

Did any of you take part in the EXTRA20 promo? Or are you saving your $$$ for the new rollout that is coming?

Happy Shopping to you all!

LOFT: President's Day Weekend Sale

ATL is having a 50% off *select* spring items sale online & in stores! I stopped by to take a QUICK look and picked up these Ink dot print shorts for under $20 bucks.

They're pretty cute and slightly JCrew-ish. The dots are a navy blue. The shorts run TTS and I'm in love with the print! Looks like most of the sizes are sold out online so you might try using their search tool. They're originally $39.50.

Head over to Loft and see what you can find! Happy Shopping!

:)

JCrew Cotton Nico Skirt

OMG i was seriously obsessed about getting this skirt because I thought, "Ooh! an A-line skirt that is short and casual to wear on the weekends! Super cute!" And I was soooooooooooooo about to buy it! Until someone on polyvore told me it was on sale at the B&M!

So I RUSHED to get on the phone to find one near me. I found one. Put it on hold. And then went to a *different B&M* just because it's nearer to my apartment to check out the weekend sales... and when I got to the B&M and sawthe skirt IRL, I WAS HORRIFIED!!! That skirt is HORRIBLE! It's CHEAP looking, SIMILAR TO A CANVAS TARP, and crumply! My bf was like "yeah, that's ugly!" The sandalwood color looked the worst of them all. The gray was ooookay and the black was probably the best of the three.

Deep down I feel kinda sad because I made a couple of polyvores that were soooooo cute! I'm just shocked at how different things look in real life!!!! I'm heart broken. Well, not really! I'm just relieved that I didn't end up buying it and paying shipping!!! It's currently on sale for $39.99 at the B&M's. Online its still full priced.

Lesson learned. BE WEARY OF ALL JCREW ITEMS! Their pictures are TOTALLY DECEIVING!!!!!!!

My 2 new T's

Hi Everyone! :)
I took a trip to the mall to do some returns (including the Cotton Sunday Skirt- which runs BIG FYI!) and I picked up 2 new sale t's instead.

The first is the Painted Poppy Art Tee $24.99 at B&M's

Here it is IRL:

I love bright fun t-shirts and this one is exactly that. It's BRIGHT, it's different and surprisingly comfy. It fits true to my normal t-shirt size (small) and is made with better material than the usual tissue thin tees. (YAY!) This one is thicker, sturdy, and machine washable even with the paint. The collar has cut raw edges which is weird but adds to the personality of the shirt. Some people might think that this the pattern looks weird on the chest but i like it.

The other top I bought was the Victoria Ruffle Tissue Cami- $24.99 @ B&M's (white, navy, lavendar, spicy olive, charcoal)

Here it is IRL:

I'm a bit of a late comer to this tee and so I already knew about the tissue thin-ness of it.. but I do admit, I HAD TO HAVE ONE! I decided to get the "warm blush" color which is practically see through (you can even see my navel-ring ah!) but since I already stocked up my lavendars, whites, and navys so this one came home with me. I'm wearing an XS since I thought a small would be too baggy but after taking this picture, I think I could have worn a small. I think it just depends how you want the tank to fit- either tightly or loose. I still love it.

I wandered around the sale section to see what else I wanted and I was eyeing the Sequined Starland Tank in Pale Gold priced at $69.99

But after closer inspection I noticed that the sides of the chiffon are totally unfinished! I definitely wasn't about to shell out that kind of money for another raw-edged shirt that will just end up unravelling in the end. Watch out for that tank ladies! You might be well disappointed! Oh, and I think it runs big!

I guess that is all for now... I'm really waiting for a full priced promo to come around so that I can buy more spring stuff. But I guess I'm okay for now since it's still 32 degrees outside.

Do any of you have these tops? What do you think of them? Let me know!

Happy Shopping! Enjoy your weekend y'all! :)

I made it a whole month w/o JCREW!

WOO! I seriously made it an ENTIRE month without buying from the 'CREW! It's like a miracle!!! I was sooooo close to buying little things like the Infinity Bracelet but it sold out by the time that I wanted to pull the trigger. Oh well! :(

During this whole shopping ban deal, I've been rediscovering all of my JCrew buys from the past year or so. What I realized is that I have a lot of stuff that is STILL cute and wearable! I'm sure many of you ladies have great stuff in your closet too but those items tend to be forgotten when we all get caught up with sales and new items. I know I do!

But anywho, now that the month is over, I'm just in time to happily take advantage of the EXTRA30 promo! I decided to get a couple tee's and some other things I can wear once Spring rolls around. I noticed a lack of dresses and skirts so I'm trying to incorporate a little bit more leg into by wardrobe!

Here is what I bought:

Slub Cotton Ruffle V-Neck Top
: I need a new white tee every year because after a few washes the white is no longer WHITE. You know what I mean?

Cotton Sunday Skirt
: Pretty Cute, I hope it works out! I've never seen it IRL. It supposedly the "easiest skirt" according to JCrew's description of it.

Slub Cotton Exaggerated Necklace Tee
: I've been eyeing this tee since the Winter rollout. For $13.99, I'll take it. I made sure to get the Ivory on so that I can wear it for spring! :)

Ankle Stretch Toothpick Jeans in Amore Wash: Total Splurge! But for $70, not too back considering I'll be wearing these puppies a lot. I'm definitely a Jeans & Tee shirt kind of girl!

Embossed Cotton Piazza Dress: This dress is hidden, I did a "DRESS" search and it came up. Only $13.99 after the 30% off! What a steal! I hope it fits!

Silk bouquet Sash: I've been eyeing this darn sash FOR-EVER!!! I finally decided to bite the bullet after seeing so many bloggers style it in such pretty ways! :)

I got ALL of these items and only paid $150! That's like the price of the jeans and a tee shirt alone! I wish I had bit the bullet when there was a good update but I always slept past the "update time." I'm happy with what I bought and I'm really glad that I didn't have to pay for shipping and can return all of my items if they don't work out.

Did any of you take part in the EXTRA30 party? Let me know! It's sooo good to be back! :)

Online Window Shoppin'

Well, since I can't buy... I'll pretend to buy!
I know some of you ladies do it too... fill up your online shopping cart but DON'T pull the trigger.

So here's what I'm "buying" today!
Store: MARTIN & OSA (btw, they're having 30% off their winter sale & free ship over $100!)
*the prices are automatically deducted in your cart so you have to spend $100 AFTER the 30%*

Funnel Neck Fleece Jacket $38.46

Cuteness! Maybe the model is just doing an AWESOME job selling it to me because as soon as I saw the pic, I fell in love. It's a practical buy and that price? AHH so cheap! MUST. BUY. IT.

Patch Pocket Cardigan $20.65

It's just a regular cardigan. Unusual buttons. Bright blue color. I like it!

Striped High Button Cardigan $20.65

Oh la la. I love it! The light color will help to carry on over to spring. I'm a stripe lover so this will feel right at home with the rest of my wardrobe. I like that its a tad different that the normal striped sweater. Price, not so bad either!

Wave Of Lace Graphic Tee $17.47
Simple and pretty! Would love to pair these with some white bottoms!

I guess that is all for now. I'm a little short to qualify for free shipping but I can easily add something in as a ride-along. I'm trying hard to reeeeally NOT buy any of it but i miiiiight. Hehe, I'm weak. J/k I won't buy it!

Hmmm where should I window shop next? Do any of you do this too???

Hello out there! :)

Well hello there fellow bloggers! You're probably wondering "Where the HECK has Ashley been?!" If not, it's okay... I'll pretend that ya'll do anyway. I'm fine, btw. Enjoying the New Year and all it has to offer. I'm currently still on Winter vacation here in lovely California. I can't believe they call 78 degrees winter weather! I'm loving it! Anywho, I really haven't left the house much since I have no car here and everyone in my household works... so I really don't have much shopping to report about. (In other words: I've been staying home everyday being a couch potato.) I also came to the realization that I spent a butt load of money on Christmas gifts and gifts to myself that I suppose my wallet needs a rest! So I guess I'll go on ahead and join the shopping ban!!!

But before that took effect, I decided to take many of your suggestions and went ahead and bought the Safari Jacket! I had it shipped to my apt in the East so that I wouldn't get charged Cali's INSANE tax! So at the moment, it's just sitting happily at my apartment. I can't wait till Spring time comes around because I've already put so many outfits together in my head! A piece like that definitely pays for itself! :)

So what have I been doing? Reading!
Sounds silly, but I forgot how much I LOVE READING! I love reading girly fiction books that usually follow the same plot of how something major happens in the life of the main character and somehow along the way, they end up finding love. AHH i love it! There's just something fun about escaping into another world, into someone's life, and feeling the joys and pains of their story. I'm the person that ends up laughing or crying when reading! When I get into a book, I SERIOUSLY get in!

The 2 books that I finished reading and TOTALLY recommend are:
Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin
and

Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella

Trust me! You will not be let down! Both of them are fun page turners! I found myself laying in bed just reading and reading away!

Have any of you read the books? OMG let me know!!!

I hope you are all enjoying your new year! I know I am! :)
Take Care & Have a Great Weekend!
