Which should I buy?

I'm gearing up my Spring wardrobe (even though it is clearly STILL winter) and I can't decide which I should buy:

Safari Jacket $64.99 after EXTRA20 discount
Great price, love the look, will get a lot of wear out of this.

Stripe Popover $59.50 can use my student discount on it to make it a tad cheaper
Can be worn with so many outfits, simple, and classic.

Chambray Popover $78 can also use my student discount
Very versatile, can be used spring and summer... easy to be styled. Can be worn with patterned bottoms.

What do you think? Which top should I get? I'm having such a hard time deciding!

I'd love to buy the safari jacket while the extra20 promo is going on. The drawback is that it'll be final sale... I love the other 2 but I really just can't decide.

Let me know what you think!

POPBACK MANIA!

OMG there were so so so many popbacks this morning that I dragged myself out of bed half asleep. To my surprise only 2 of the 4 things I ordered were actually marked FINAL SALE so I was happy happy happy!

Here's what I got:

Canvas Atelier Jacket in Mineral Grey :)

Wallpaper Jacquard Shorts (Only $19.99!!!)

Chiffon Trellis Tank! I've seen this top styled so well I really hope it works out!

And last but CERTAINLY NOT least, Ocho Rios Print Sweater Dress!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I bought this in a small so I hope it fits! If not, I'm gonna make it fit!!!

I used the free shipping code just because I HAAAAATE paying shipping. Overall, I'm so happy with what I got. I'm going to stop shopping for now.... or at least until I get some Christmas money! Did any of you take part in the Final Sale madness?

I have to admit that I have been snubbed by the final sale before but if something doesn't fit I can always ebay it and if it is defective in ANY way, I am always sure to return it and get my moneys back!!!

Happy shopping Ladies!!! I hope you all have a very happy holiday! :)

Oh la LOFT!

Like many of you, I decided to take part in the "PRESENTS" promo over at Ann Taylor Loft. I found a few cute things and saved $$. I definitely would have bought more but I've spent a lot of money on myself in the past month. Every December I always tend to get a little carried away because Christmas and my birthday are so close together. I usually get duped w/ gifts this time of year... "ohhh that's your birthday AND Christmas gift." Eh, I guess I'll take what I can get.

Well anyway, here is what I bought:

Smocked VNeck Pullover, in Pink Blush

Love this simple look. It's a cute little sweater with non-overwhelming ruffle detail. I chose this color because :
1. I don't have any light pink sweaters
2. It can carry on over to Spring :)
3. It's pretty!

Next up is the Long Cubic Zirconia Fine Link Chain Necklace

I actually saw this necklace in store a while back and thought it really resembled the JCrew Twisted Crystal Necklace. The ATL version is different but achieves the same look without breaking the bank. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Last up, and my FAVORITE: The Jewel Neck Tee

I bought this tee in Vintage Plum and think it is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! It totally looks like the JCrew Bijou top but is much cheaper! I'm so glad that Gigi mentioned this tee because otherwise I might not have ever known about it!

I would have gone to the mall today but I had a feeling that it would be madness! I resorted to clicking here and clicking there! I love me some online shopping!!!

Hurry on over to ATL if you haven't already! The PRESENTS promo will be over soon! :)
Enjoy your weekend & stay warm!

Today's shoppin' goodies!

I paid a visit to Banana Republic to use my fun $15 Birthday Coupon (which i WISH JCrew would start giving out!) and found some great deals!

They had:
Soft Cashmere Sweaters for $59.99
Thick Wool and Merino Sweaters for under $40
Chunky Scarves for $29
Various Tees and Tops from $10-30!

Love the prices!

I walked away with this Cowl Neck Sweater for $29.88 (still $49.99 online)
LOVE this sweater! It's warm and fashionable! I've been eyeing it since fall and now finally it's mine! :)

I also picked up 2 long patterned silk scarves
this one is pretty with a pop of green, $11.99

and this one with pretty spots, $14.99

Cheap!!! I love sale shopping! :)
----
And for my birthday present, my boyfriend took me to Build-A-Bear! We made this cute Hello Kitty stuffed animal! I always wanted one! This Kitty is extra special because she's all dressed up in SOX gear! :)

I hope you all enjoy your weekend! I know I will!

And just for kicks, here's a picture of my dog!

Some QUICK reviews!

Hi bloggy friends! Sorry I've been so MIA! I'm almost done with the semester so I've been rather busy. I'm super excited because my birthday is just around the corner! (SATURDAY!) The big 2-4!
:)

But anyway, I ordered a couple things during the past few promos to check 'em out. Some hot, some NOT!

LOVE:

Printed Kelsey! LOVE LOVE LOVE times a million! Cute top! Great fit! I ordered this in a 2 since it was the only size left. To my surprise, it fit! The ruffles aren't too crazy. It's silk, button down, and perfect for dressing up or down. If you get a chance to grab this one, i HIGHLY recommend it!

Sequin Ruffle Tank- LOVE! I ordered this in a small because I had a feeling it would be stretchy/spandexy. I was right! It's stretchy-ish. I didn't want it to hug my tummy but other than that, I'd say its TTS. The sequins around the arm are fun and only on one side which makes it rather edgy. The front ruffle is kinda *just there* so it's not overwhelming at all. You'll definietely like it if you get it. The navy matched with black is hot!

DON'T LOVE:

Silk Lumiere Cami- It's a pretty shade of lavender, and the style was very promising but it just looked horrible on me. Maybe because the sizing was a little weird... The chest was too tight on me and once I zipped it up, it was seriously uncomfortable! I could probably size up to a 2 but then it would definitely cut low in the front. I might try it again in a different size but I guess I can live without it for now.

Organza Sash Tank- All I have to say is OMG LOL. That's what I thought when i put it on. The sash seriously goes down one side of your body which makes your other boob just stick out. It looked so weird. My bf saw it on me and was like, "you should return that." LOL. He read my mind. I ordered it in an XS and the tank fit fine and was comfy but wow that sash is all wrong. Save your money... buy something else!

Sorry that's all for now, I'll be back soon! :)
Enjoy your week!

To buy? or Not to buy?

Ahhh. I'm on the fence about ordering a new Black wool coat and I just can't decide!!!

Which should I buy?

1. Wool Ruffle Front Coat

2. Wool Duffle Coat

3. Wool Harbor Peacoat

I want something warm...
Something cute, stylish, well fitting, and good for another couple years down the road.

Do you think that the Ruffle Front Coat will be out of style next year?
Do you think that the Duffle Coat is not flattering enough? Dare I say masculine?!
Do you think that the Harbor Peacoat is warm enough?

Ahhh... decisions, decisions, decisions...

I have other JCrew coats but none that are wool & black. I have enough of the "Double Cloth" material and am ready for nicer coat.

What do you think? Should I cave? Or wait around for a better deal?

Come to Mama!!!!

Yes! I finally decided to get my hands on a Mini Campo! (AND AT A GREAT PRICE!)

I'm going to love you like no other! :)

I decided to return almost all of the items from my past couple of orders because of the following reasons:
1. I didn't love them. They didn't fit right, they were meh, or they were cheapy. Why should I keep something that I just don't love? RETURN. RETURN. RETURN!
2. They were itchy. (Colorblock Cardigan & Dolce striped sweater especially!!! I couldn't stop scratching! And when I stopped scratching I knew I'd be itchy a minute later!)
3. They were DEFECTIVE!!! (My striped scalloped gloves had some weird EXTRA knitting on the end of the thumb! It's okay though b/c i exchanged them for some way cuter ones for a dollar cheaper! OH AND MY CRESCENT COLLAR CAMI CAME WITH NO TAG AND A MAKEUP STAIN!!!!!!! WTH?!?!?!!? THAT WAS DEFINITELY USED!!!! C'MON QUALITY CONTROL!!!)

I'm really starting to lose faith in the Crew. They are just shelling out disappointment after disappointment! :(

On the flip side, I ended up LOVING the Evie, Cambridge Cable Cardigan, Forever Cardigan, and studded belt. I returned my tissue necklace tee b/c I was sure that I'd rip or lose one of the jewels within 1 wearing.

After unpacking, I realized that I have a ton of clothes. I did a ton of Black Friday & After Thanksgiving shopping that I reeeeally shouldn't buy any more stuff. The next time I fly home my mom recommended me just bringing an empty luggage because she knows I'll do more shopping in Cali. I think I've drank all the Crewlade that I can for now... time for a break!

Did any of you take part in the GIFTS promo? Do tell!

Shopping... it's what I do best! Seriously.

Of course still being on East Coast time, I managed to wake up incredibly early to check my fav site for the morning update. To my surprise, the lovely Evie top was on sale!!!

I picked it up in Ivory for $19.99!!! I can't believe JCrew sells stuff for $$$$$$$ and then weeks later drops the prices DRASTICALLY LOW! It must cost them like less than a dollar to make these pieces... maybe not a dollar.... but hmm, I wonder?

Anyway, I have gotten 100% into the spirit of Holiday shopping... {for myself} and scored some cute things this past weekend. (I'm actually in the spirit of shopping 24/7/365, to be exact... i guess you can say that I'm slightly obsessed!)

Here is what I bought: [sorry no pictures. the lighting in my house is horrible!]

1. A nice v-neck sweater from AT outlet. Marked down from the ridiculous price of $70 to a mere $25. It has a silk-inset v-neck. Super cute! I bought it in cream. Making it perfect for the winter season! I like it because it is warm & cozy. I usually don't buy anything from the AT outlet because their quality is hit or miss... but I decided to take this baby home anyway.

2. A CUTE striped tissue t-neck from the JCrew outlet.
It was $29.50 and marked 40% off and an extra 15% off w/ my student discount. It has thin stripes VERY similar to this stripe tee!

I missed out on that longsleeve retail one so my new t-neck is a great substitute. They styled the t-neck under a black blouse... so adorable! I'm going to have to try that one day.

3. This top:

from ATL. I bought it during the F&F promo. It came out to be something like $15. It's cute. Simple. And well, longsleeved! Gotta have those sleeves in the east! It's currently $19.50 online.

4. Some bootcut jeans- but I can't seem to find the picture online. They were like $21 after all the deductions... I think I accidentally gained some weight because I seriously had to size up in those pants... sad.

I also bought 5 various tops from the Banana Republic Outlet... the entire store was 40% off. All my tops rang up well under $15 each. (Think $6.99!) LOVE IT!

And then about 5 minutes ago, I stumbled upon the JCA site only to find that there is an EXTRA20 promo going on!!! Ahhh, of course I pulled the trigger on a few things!!!

1. Forever Cardigan- love the color! i'm in desperate need of lavender in my life.
2. Colorblock Cardigan- saw this in store. cute. love the $39.99 price (after 20%)! versatile!
3. Cambridge Cable Cardigan- love this color! don't have anything like it. i'm getting on the cable bandwagon!
4. Skinny Studded Belt- who doesn't need another belt? love this color. must. have. it!
5. Striped Gloves- even at $15.99 they're pricey. LOVE the fact that I can return them if I don't want them.

extra20
extra20 by sbash123 featuring J Crew

Items in this set:
J Crew cardigan, $90
J Crew top, $88
J Crew top, $70
J Crew skirt, $78
J Crew glove, $100

Oooh and I totally forgot to mention that I bought these 2 pairs of sandals from the BCBG outlet. Yesss, I know it's winter but these will look sooooo cute in 6 months once summer rolls around!!

I scored them both for under $80!!! The flats were originally $80 and the heels $210! Can you believe that?! I got me some deals!!!

I'm a shopping maniac!! I better stop buying stuff for myself and start buying for the people on my Christmas list!!

Have a great Thanksgiving y'all!!!

Time for vacation! And oooh I bought more stuff.

Well I finished all my homework. Lab is done for the semester. What am I going to do now? Go HOME! Woo! I didn't think that I was going to fly home for Thanksgiving Break since it's usually only 3 days long + weekend... but I just realized that I have no class all next week! So I get to have an extra long vacation! I'm flying home to Cali where it is *hopefully* above 60 degrees!

Lol, i'm so tired of having to wear tights under my jeans to keep my legs warm. It'll be nice not having to have that extra layer on!

We're heading to Vegas for Thanksgiving so that will be pretty fun. I always love hearing the dinging and chiming of the slot machines... but don't worry I'll be spending my $$$ on clothes and not on gambling!

Anywho, I decided to take part in that whole "Insider" sale from earlier this week and here is what I got:

Asymetrical Chiffon Bow Pullover in Papaya

Dolce Stripe Sweater

Black Patent Juliets

The package is coming in tonight! 'm soooo happy because I thought that it would get here after I left.I hope it all fits! I ordered Smalls so hopefully this stuff isn't running really big.

And during the Knits & Tees Promo I bought this:
Perfect Fit Cardigan in Soft Willow (preeetty color!)

and another Always Cardigan in Heather Graphite
I decided with basics and against the cute embellished tee's because I always fear that if I mess up one bead or snag one thread... the shirt would be totally useless!

Did any of you take part in these promos? What'd ya get?! Please doooo tell!

Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break everyone!!! Make sure to do some shopping!!!

OOTD, My Coat, and the sweater that will be returned.

Here's what I wore today:

Library Shawl Cardigan
Silk Brulee Tank
F21 skinny jeans
JCrew cylinder necklace in soft graphite

Now, onto my Camino Coat of Happiness.
I love this coat! Why? Oh because it's so bright and lovely! It's nice, fitted, and different than the usual coat that you see people wearing. I ordered this in a size 2 since they didn't have this coat in petite sizes. It's TTS, warm, and simply chic! (Sorry about this picture.. it looks like I'm standing super duper straight. Well, I was so that you could see how it looks all buttoned and ready to go.)

From the side, so you can get a feel for the length.
What don't i love about it? Well, buying this jacket I already knew it was double breasted.. .and we all know what that means... it looks funny unbuttoned.

See.
I'm not going to lie, i think i look funny without it buttoned but wearing it completely buttoned up makes me look a little funny too.

Despite that, I still love my Camino. I initially thought that it was made of a different fabric.. I thought that the Double Cloth material would be softer than my Heavy Wool Pique coat from last year... but it's not. I guess I can deal with that. I paid $156 and IMO, it's worth that. It's worth $195 too but definitely not worth the $278 it was originally marked at. Only because the double breasted look gets a little less use than a regular coat.

I have yet to wear it out on a cold winter day but I'm sure with a sweater/thick longsleeve I should be warm enough. If you have any other questions about this coat, feel free to ask away! :)

Now, onto the Dream VNeck Sweater.
Okay, if you haven't seen this sweater IRL, let me just tell you that the color is absolutely beautiful. Besides that, its really just MEH.

I can't believe I paid $50 for this sweater! For one, I am wearing it in a size small and IMO, it runs a tad big. Look under my arm... its just baggy!!! Oh and the biggest thing WRONG with the sweater is the "inside out seam" look. I really DON'T GET THIS LOOK! Why would I want my seams to be on the outside???? And down the center of my back?!

(That's the back of the sweater!)

Yes, there is a seam going down my back. Why?! Why on earth would there be a seam down my back? What the heck kind of sweater is this?? GAH! It's going back.

Sorry I'm just a little bit frustrated at the moment. I bought this Metallic Lexi in Turquoise as a gift and I opened it up to look at it and BAM! IT LOOKS USED!!! IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SCRATCHED THE HELL OUT OF IT, RUBBED ALL THE METALLIC TURQUOISE OFF OF IT, STEPPED ON IT, AND PLAYED FOOTBALL WITH IT. OUTSIDE!!!! Ah! I'm so mad! Of course I bought it on sale... no wonder why it is in such bad shape!!! If it was $10, I'd say yeah, oh well... I'll keep it. But no. I paid well over $70 bucks for this baby. I'm getting my money back! I can't believe they would try to sell this handbag for $225!

Oh JCrew, you make me so sad.

Shopping on a Friday!

After yesterday's exam I was ready to do some shopping! Nothing from JCrew caught my eye but I was able to get a few great {CHEAP} things while at the mall.

I took advantage of my 30% off Gap/Banana/Old Navy coupon and here is what I got:

Metallic Silver Tank: $4.90! A GREAT alternative to JCrew's Molten Metallic Tank! It's thick, soft and surprisingly not cheapy! I think it will go great under some cute Cardigan!

Ruffle Front Racerback: $4.90! Reminded me of the JCrew Shirred Ruffle Tank. It's a longer tank and will add interest to an outfit!
Metallic Trim Wrap Cardigan- $14.00! Once again the Store rep was too lazy to check the actual price. I knew it was $25 but they went ahead and marked it as $20! It was such a steal after the 30% off. It's perfect for the holidays because of the nice metallic threading. LOVE IT!
Oh, and lastly I paid a visit to Victoria's Secret and found these CUTE little Chanel look-a-like crossbody bags! I don't really care for all the colors, since they aren't THAT practical. I got the one in black and it is seriously cute! It was marked down to $14.50 from $34.00. LOOVE it! I saw Audrina from the Hills w/ the REAL CHANEL one and since I can't afford it, this bag will give me the look for A LOT less. The bag is satin and quilted and says LOVE PINK on it but from far away you can't even see the writing.
Stop by Victoria's Secret and spend $10 and you'll get a "Secret Santa" coupon for either $10, $50, or $200! The coupon won't be revealed until you pay for something in December.

In other news, I just got my Camino Coat today!!! LOVE IT!!! I have to wait for good lighting to take a picture. Just know that it runs TTS. I got a 2 since they don't come in petite sizes. (I usually wear a 4p in jackets in blazers.) You'll love it!

But anyway... that's all for now! Happy shopping!!!

Where the heck have I been?!

WOW! It's been super long since I have even blogged and I have some maaaaaajor catching up to do. I hate blaming my absence on school... but it's true. I've spent so much time being a bookworm that I have neglected my blog! But one thing for sure is that I haven't stopped shopping!

I've gone a little whacko buying lots of little things here and there because of all the facebook codes but here are a few things that I got.. AND LOVE!

and ooh I bought the Camino Coat & Necklace tee too! (Lol, it wouldn't fit on the previous polyvore!)

As you can see, its a lot of stuff! But I got them all at SERIOUSLY GREAT PRICES!!!

The most expensive one was the Camino Coat.. but duh, it's a coat. I got it for only $156!! (Lol, ONLY.) Thank goodness for that 30% off promo & my student discount! I LOVE getting deals! It hasn't come in the mail yet so I'll have to do another post about the fit.

The 2nd most expensive thing was that Dream Vneck Sweater. LOVE THAT COLOR!!! I was so bummed when I missed out on the more affordable Merino one in that color. At $49.99 it's not tooo bad of a price but I love the Dream sweaters because they keep me really warm.

OOOh and then comes the Brynn dress!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I bought it to wear for my birthday next month. It's such a fab dress for $39.99! What a steal! I hate to admit that I've gained a couple pounds so the dress in a tad snug at the moment. I have a little over 30 days to lose the inches so I'm going to try hard because i reeeeeeeally want to fit in it before my special day.

I scored the Sherpa hoodie at my B&M in the sale section. It was only $39.99 which is a pretty good price considering the JCrew sherpa hoodies hardly evvvvver go on sale. (But now all the colors are on promo for $55)

All the jewelry was $19.99 each. GREAT MARKDOWNS RIGHT?! You can't even score those prices on eBay!

Enjoy your weekend and happy shopping!!!

Old Navy! A great place for deals!

This weekend, Old Navy is holding their "Stuff & Save" promotion where you can get 30% off your purchase if you use or open an ON, Gap, Banana Card. (AND you get a cutesy tote bag!)

Lucky for me, I had my trusty Banana Card and so I was ready to do some shopping!
As I was browsing along, I came across this SUPER cute Shawl Belted Cardi Coat!

I could have SWORN it was marked $30 so when I got to the register and it rang up as $36.50, I made sure to have the cashier double check the price. Of course, the cashier was lazy and didn't even bother to take a second look and marked it at $30. After the 30% off, it came out to $21.00! Such a great price! Now here is the embarrassing part... I had my bf check the price of the cardigan on his way out of the store and it really isn't $30! It's not even on sale! I must have made up the price in my head with all of the 30% off signs... Oh well, I guess they could have checked if they wanted to. But anywho, I'm totally LOVING it! Its fairly soft, WARM, and kinda resembles the JCrew Marled Wool Cardigan.
Kinda. But not really I guess. This one doesn't have half as much white-ish color but its still a nice alternative for the "marled" look. FYI: The ON one runs TTS and long enough to cover the booty! Great for pairing with leggings! :)
Here it is on me:

I also picked up a few $7 longsleeve tees. These next 2 tops reminded me of the Jaspe because of the v-shaped thingy at the top and the banded bottom. And the stripes totally reminded me of the "Forever stripe cardigan." So I guess this tee was a mix of the two! The only thing is that this shirt is just regular t-shirt material. Nothing special. I'm wearing an XS in this one.

And a Small in this one.
I also picked up this one too!
It has that JCrew-ish henley look which is great for layering once it starts to get super cold around here! With the 30% off, they came out to be $4.90 each! Woop! WOOP!
I even picked up some thermal tops for my BF for $4.90 as well! Such great deals!!!

Definitely stop by Old Navy if you get a chance! Their prices are so great and with them being so low you can get more for your money! Happy Halloween Shopping ladies! Enjoy your weekend!
