BOOOO JCREW!!!!!

Soooo I got my package today and was SUUUPER psyched to get my Corsage Cardigan... aaand THEY SENT ME SOME WEIRD TANK INSTEAD!!!!!

I was crushed!!! I finally decided to get that Cardigan and now I'll never have it! :(

So I called CS and sorted out the whole deal.
The bad news:
I won't be getting my cardigan.
The good news:
1. I got a full refund INCLUDING what I paid for shipping. (Except I have to do the whole return mail thing... which will take about 2 weeks)
2. I get free return shipping.
3. I got this tee instead

with free shipping and my student discount applied. Yeah, the shirt is sooo last season but I've seriously had my eye on it since it came out...

I'm pretty sad about not getting the cardigan. The only way I got free shipping on my new order was if I ordered something right then with the CS rep. I asked if I could have a code instead to use when I "felt" like buying something but she said I couldn't do that... oh well. I'm lucky to have gotten free shipping and free return.

I'm trying to cheer up but ahhhh I'm still disappointed! BOOOOO JCREW!

Jumpin' on the Jaspe & Ribbon-Front Top bandwagon!

I somehow lucked out and got that "Free shipping for a day" promo! Not sure why I got it but yay! So what did I get??? Well, it was really slim pickings in the sale section so I decided to take a leap and finally get the Jaspe!!!

After reading tons and tons of great reviews about how COZY it was, I really can't go wrong. I'm occasionally a lazy dresser so this will definitely come in handy. Yesterday must have been my lucky day because customer service even let me use my student discount. But lol, they told me it was a one time courtesy...I'll take what I can get! I kinda went over my $30 limit but I figure it will pay for itself when I wear it all the time. I just hope I got the right size... I kept debating between a small and xs. I decided to get the small for a more laid back fit.. so we'll see how it goes.

Aaaand after reading such rave reviews about the Ribbon-Front Top and seeing as how it is only $19.99, I knew I had to have it!

My boyfriend has been toooooo lazy to take me to the mall so I went on a fribbon top quest! It's totally sold out online and I'm surely not paying $50 for it on eBay! But thanks to such kind JCAs, (Chanel Fashionista & Mommydearest) my quest became a lot easier! I found it waaaaay off in Portland, OR! Hahaha. Even though I had to pay shipping for this item.. I guess it all works out in the end. I haven't tried it on in person but I'm reeeally hoping it fits!

I guess these 2 purchases don't count as "mindless" shopping purchases. I should really stop shopping for a few weeks... unless JCrew decides to pull and 20% off AND free shipping promo, I'll be sitting on the sidelines for now.

Express Sweater: Wear it 3 ways!!!

This sweater deserved it's own post because I seriously seriously LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!

I snagged this sweater on a whim at Express just because I felt like buying something. (Every do that? Just wanna buy something just because you want to....) Well anyway, I super glad that I did!!! It was only $19.99 and comes in different variations of striped colors. I'm not sure if they have solid ones but I'll have to check next time.

What's so cool about this sweater? Well, for one, it's SOFT!!! And two, YOU CAN WEAR IT 3 DIFFERENT WAYS!!! So fun!

I was looking for something to wear with leggings and this turned out to be the perfect match!
The 3 ways to wear it are:

1. With a cowl neck


2. Off one Shoulder


3. Off both Shoulders! (Sorry, it was hard to take a pic wearing it this way...)


This sweater is fun and comfy and slightly... dare I say, Sexy?! Haha. Well anyway, if you're lookin for something like this, it's worth a try! At $19.99 what have you got to lose?!

I have a few new tees that I would love to show y'all! They're all cute and simple... and yes all priced UNDER $20!

1. Banana Republic Graphic Necklace Tee

I picked this up a few weeks back in the BR sale section. I thought it was cute and different. The tee is pretty good quality and I'm really loving the unique "necklace" look. The deep v-neck is also a nice touch. Got it for $19.99 which is a GRRRREAT deal compared to the prices of JCrew tees. Right?!


2. JCrew Stamped Paisley Tee

Okay, I'm seriously IN LOVE with this top! It's the same kind of slub stretchy cotton like the headache tee and neon zebra tee. I'm wearing a small and I really like the fit because it doesn't hug my little belly. I'm so happy that I found this during a early morning restock! It's gonna look great paired with my tissue silk trim cardigan in dark charcoal. YAY!


3. Express Graphic Tee (Metallic Flowers and stuff)

I took a study break and went to this wannabee mall nearby my apartment. I stopped by EXPRESS and they're currently having their BOX sale which is a great time to buy tops under $20! This one in particular was only $9.99!!! Super cute! I like how it is kiiiiiinda slllliiiightly JCrew-ish. KINDA. The material is IDENTICAL to the slub cotton shirts at JCrew! This one was only $9.99 compared to JCrews $30+! I recommend you take a trip to Express! You might find something you like!

I'm loving lavendar at the moment and was surprised that how much ended up loving this tank! It's currently only $14.99 so if you're looking for a simple layering piece, this is definitely one to pick up! :) I scored this Jackie on the weekly exchange. It's my first Jackie and I actually like it! It has some stretch and isn't rough either. If they ever go on sale I'll definetly snatch one up!

And last but not least, My new Tretorns!


They fit perfectly!!! I was sooooo happy! And as afraid as I was to sport this yellow elastic band, I actually like it! It's so different and fun that it makes my shoes even more special! :)

It's been awhile since I've posted IRLs and blogged about stuff that I'm loving. It makes me realize just how much I missed blogging!!! So ladies, i'm soooo back!!! :)

Hello bloggers! I've been really bad about keeping up with my blog but to get back into the swing of things, I just wanted to post some new additions to my closet! I don't know how I end up doing so much mindless shopping! Online shopping in particular is realllllllly addicting!! I suppose I should really stop. I think I'm going back to my under $30 rule. (It's where I only buy things under $30, shipping NOT included...)

Hey Ladies! I'm back!

AH! I've been gone from Bloggy land for quite a while! School has kept me super duper busy and I just feel so behind with everyone's blog! There are so many reviews on new arrivals that I can hardly keep up! Super props to all of you that keep your blog running day to day!

Anywho, in terms of JCrew fashion, I really haven't even bought anything lately! I never got my catalog in the mail which super sucks! But I'm getting geared up for the cold weather over here so I'm super excited about buying some new sweaters! I just missed that 20% discount on selected sweaters so I guess I'll just have to wait for some markdowns. I'm definitely NOT shelling out $80+ for a simple sweater! I'm really tempted though!

I finally received my Calvin Klein stuff from my previous post and I seriously LOVE all the items. My cool puffer if my FAV and will keep me nice and toasty once the snow comes my way. My bf saw my jacket and was like, "don't you already have one of those?!" and I was like "uhh, this is CHARCOAL GRAY! my other one is black." ahhhh, i guess boys just don't get it. haha

Anyway, one recent purchase that I am super happy about is my new pair of White Leather Jack Purcells!

I kept ooglying over the ones on JCrew.com because they pretty much go with EVERYTHING but I could never justify paying $65+ shipping for a pair of CANVAS shoes! They'd get dirty waay tooo quick and probably only last me one season! I went ahead and bought mine off of zappos.com and if you've never bought from them before I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I seriously ordered my shoes YESTERDAY at 10am eastern time and they arrived TODAY at 3pm!!! AND I DIDN'T EVEN PAY for next day shipping! They just decided to bump my order to priority status just for the heck of it!!! I'm not sure if they ALLLLWAYS do that, but in the 2 times that I've ordered from them, they sure did! If only JCrew would do the same thing!!!
Wouldn't that be nice?!

In other news, I'm selling a few of last years sweaters at great prices. (Shipping is included in the price.) They're all EUC and seriously like new!
